This year’s core topics of the EnviroInfo 2018 are intended to provide continuity with previous EnviroInfo issues and topics that have long been close to the heart of the specialist community. On the other hand, we would also like to pick up new hot topics that have not been around the area for so long.

  • Distributed Processing and Sensing

Topics of special interest will be covered in special workshops or within topic centred sessions/tracks within the conference’s schedule. Some of the special topics of this year’s conference are:

  • Earthquakes and Tsunamis
  • Energy Aware Software-Engineering and Development

The submission deadlines are as follows

  • Full papers: April 3rd, 2018 extended to May 15, 2018
  • Short contributions: June 1, 2018 extended to June 11, 2018
  • Abstract & talk only and poster: June, 30 2018

Submission Details

We invite contributions of three categories with different reviewing processes, different publication levels and different presentation formats:





Full scientific paper

Complete text for peer review (double blind)

8-20 pages in a springer book or a journal publication

Traditional session

Work in progress or short contribution
(problems, ideas, visions)

Extended abstract (1000 words) for peer review

4-6 pages published with ISBN or ISSN

Primary format: Oral sessions


Short abstract (300 words) for peer review


Poster session

Abstract and talk only

Short abstract (300 words) for peer review


Traditional session
